TORONTO - Once committed to developing the QNX operating system, Research In Motion (RIM) will embed it in one of the latest Blackberry smartphone.
Launched by Know Your Mobile, Friday (14/01/2011), RIM will be pinned on QNX OS for the first time on Blackberry Monaco. Currently these devices reportedly are in a period production.
If these rumors prove true, in the near future users will be able to see devices that are equipped with a 1GHz processor, 768 MB of RAM, and certainly no SurePress.
QNX is expected to make its way to BlackBerry smartphones that multicore and different sized tablets for 10 years. QNX OS itself is considered an appropriate, particularly for tablet RIM Playbook.
