SINGAPORE - Good news for IT workers. Computerworld, Monday (01/17/2011), launch, the standard salary for IT workers in the Asia Pacific region are expected to increase in 2011.
This report firm Robert Half International in its first survey about the technology industry salary. "Overall, the technology industry in the Asia Pacific region has increased rapidly. The company must be ready to respond to this situation if you want to succeed."
The survey was conducted in the period July to August 2010 and attracted respondents from Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand and Singapore.
"The improving economic conditions and business confidence in general, allowing plantings greater investment in technology projects throughout the Asia Pacific region. Moreover, companies are increasingly highlighting the importance upgrade technology for improving business performance and excel in competition," continued the report.
Mentioned, 41 percent of tech workers get salary increases over the past year. Mainly due to increased demand for technology staff who have high skills in the midst of intense job competition.
Employees in Hong Kong have the greatest advantage of these trends, where more than 56 percent of employees admitted to get a raise last year.
Meanwhile, in Singapore, 40 percent of employees claimed to still receive the same amount of salary. This is due to economic conditions in Singapore are still in recovery after the global crisis, 2008.
